Scampston Hall, Sun 18th Oct 2015 (10am – 1pm)
This half day experiential workshop is aimed at anyone who is keen to creatively develop their photography composition and their identity as a photographer. Everyone is welcome whether you are a beginner or an experienced amateur and whether your camera is your mobile phone, a compact, bridge camera or a DSLR.
“A great way to broaden your thinking” – C. Cowham
Afterwards we will return to the conservatory for an informal discussion and feedback on your experiences photographing in the garden. Following this session we are setting up a Facebook album on our Scampston page where you can upload your choice of your best 3 photos, which will receive feedback online from Phil and Susanna. You will also be able to admire each others’ photos!
All you need to bring is your own camera or camera phone and suitable clothing and shoes for walking through the garden and parkland (and possibly kneeling, sitting or lying on the ground!). Bring a tripod if you wish.“Really enjoyed this – a great start to getting to grips with the camera” – H. Gibbs
